Maren - Luxury Hospitality

Maren is a hand-picked portfolio of rentals that needed to look as considered as it is. We built an identity and a photography-led website that give every stay one voice.

Challenge

Maren manages a hand-picked portfolio of rentals, but the channels that fill them treat every stay the same. Airbnb and Booking.com flatten a curated collection into another grid of listings. Maren needed a brand that made choosing a place feel like the point, without slipping into resort brochure or real-estate portal territory.

Strategy

The reframe: Maren doesn’t list stays, it chooses them. Every decision followed from that. Fewer properties, each one walked through in person, all speaking in one voice. The line “Stay Somewhere Chosen” puts the promise up front, and the identity was built to sound like a host who has actually slept in the beds.

Brand

The wordmark does most of the talking. Chunky 70s letterforms sit on a strict grid, so the mark holds its shape from a favicon to a billboard. Burnt orange, deep green and cream keep it warm and grounded, with lavender and sage stepping in for social. Photography stays candid: real couples, lived-in sofas, mustard velvet.

Product

The website is built around the photograph. Each property gets a full-bleed image, a location pin and one orange arrow to open it. Small tags like Just Listed and Available Now flag status at a glance. Behind it, CMS collections for properties, locations, journal and testimonials let the Maren team add a stay without touching the layout.

Outcome

Maren now runs on one system: a wordmark, a social kit and a 20-page website with four CMS collections. New stays, locations and journal posts slot into the same structure, so every page still looks and sounds like the same brand. The portfolio can grow without the identity having to be redrawn.

More Work

How a project runs with us.

Every project follows the same four steps, so you never have to guess where things stand. We plan in weekly sprints, review as we go, and keep every update, decision, and report in one document. You see the work as it moves, not only when it is finished.

  1. 01

    Tell us everything

We meet, kick off, and listen. Then we send back a scope and proposal, and assign the team your project needs.

  2. 02

    We get to work

Work runs in weekly sprints. We plan at the start of each one and close it at the end, with progress shared as we go.

  3. 03

    We check every step

Every sprint ends with a review and testing. We catch problems early, so nothing surprising shows up at launch.

  4. 04

    You keep the blueprint

Progress, updates, and decisions live in one document. You get a blueprint your team can keep using after we finish.
